Round Rock Among Safest Cities in the US

According to a national survey of crime statistics, Round Rock is ranked the 13th safest city with a population more than 75,000.

The survey was released and conducted by Morgan Quitno Press who had used murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and motor vehicle theft as variables.

“For the second year in a row, this national report validates what we know in Round Rock -- our investment in public safety and the professionalism and skill of our police officers have helped create a fantastic place to live, raise a family and run a business. Our Police Department deserves all the credit in the world for keeping up with a rapidly expanding population with its pro-active approach to law enforcement,” says Mayor Nyle Maxwell.
